According to MEC Dlamini, the event is more than just a competition it is a platform for cultural expression, youth development, and the nurturing of future music professionals. She strongly believes that active parental involvement during events like these plays a significant role in building learners’ self-esteem and encouraging greater participation.

“Strong parental support not only builds confidence but also fosters a sense of belonging and motivation in our learners. When they see their families cheering them on, they sing with pride and purpose,” said Dlamini.
