POLICE RELEASE IDENTIKIT AS THEY SEEK PUBLIC HELP IN CAROLINA SHOOTING CASE

Police in Carolina are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying and locating a person who may have information about an armed robbery and shooting incident at Negiye Section in Carolina.

The incident occurred on 12 March 2026 at around 00:25, when three armed men allegedly entered a residence and demanded money. The complainant was assaulted before the suspects reportedly fired several shots inside the house and fled.

The complainant’s son sustained gunshot wounds during the incident.

As part of the ongoing investigation, police have released an identikit of a person who may assist in the case and are urging anyone who recognises the individual or knows their whereabouts to come forward.

Mpumalanga Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Apaphia Modise has assured the public that police will continue working to bring those responsible to justice.
